So, I ran my dl folder through Delphy Download Organizer and deleted all the orphans and duplicates, then before loading the game deleted the cache. Got around to have a look at it, sadly it has no effect in the sims 2 as far as I can see :-( I've yet to test this in the sims 2 (since by now it's a habit to not move pictures down and so I keep forgetting about it :-[), but when floorelevating objects into a different level in the sims 3, like this, careful placement of lightning inside the foundation (or level you floorelevate object from) keep objects from turning that weird shade of blue at night.

I experience the same thing when moving wall hangings down, with or without lightning/radiance mods and on three different computers. Mootilda may be on to something in this thread. Was it so that it happens if one has some specific EP (or any of the later, maybe) installed? Or does it have something to do with a lighting mod.? I can't remember, but I'm sure I've read about it somewhere. That doesn't work for paintings and other wall deco, though. I have no idea why it happens, but when it does I usually pick up the object with the hand tool and then put it back, and that seems to reset the lightning to the way it should be. I dont know if it related, but I also noticed the paintings do the same thing when I move them down on the wallĭoes anyone know what the problem is here? Now, the problem is some of my objects (mostly beds) turn up almost black in my game. Recently I re-installed my whole game, and the CC folder.
